Braces! day before school?

so i recently went to the ortho so they could check out how they're gonna have to put on my braces and all that. and i have to get a small surgery from a different doctor to get an eye tooth removed and something like a metal string to tie around it and bring it down? im not exactly sure but ya ha. but i wanted it done as soon as possible so i could get them off as soon as i can! so with the surgery the schedule was a little bit harder and will be harder to change if i need to. but im supposed to get spacers (4 i think) then the surgery 2-3 days later, then braces 2-3 days after that. then the next days school! (only half day) i heard that ill be in alot of pain but idk if i can get it changed! im gonna try but if i cant, what are some suggestions to make the pain better and more bearable? and what does the pain feel like? thanks :)
