Could I afford a horse?

i'm 15 right now, when i'm 16 i'll be getting a job.(i plan to wait to get a horse until i have a job). First i'll save up to actually get the horse. What kind of things do I need(saddle, bridle, halter, what else)? After I got started(have horse, & all that stuff) about how much would it be per month to keep a horse? So basically, what kind of stuff do i need to start out? and how much would it cost per month for a horse? also, how much does the average horse eat a day? Answers VERY MUCH appriciated!!! THANX!!!
