How can people still believe in God what with all the pain the people of the world go through?

everything happens for a reason. i have heard that when a parent looses their child that is because god needed another angel in heaven. and all the other bad things that happen to us are a test i think. dont loose your faith. god is real. you will see that one day when you go to heaven. but if you dont put your faith in him and believe in him and live for him you might not make it to heaven so dont take the chance. and besides isnt it nice to know that there is a higher power up there looking out for you!!!!!
