Why are we putting fluoride in our drinking water when the supposed benefits come from topical application?

I wouldn't want fluoride in my drinking water! Is this the dentists again? not happy with banning sugar and spawning aspartame rich , artificial sweetener loaded, cancer causing sweets and drink industry, they now want to introduce and contaminate the very water you drink?and strip calcium from your bones into the process? what the hell do they care anyway about health? they are just interested in money, how come they are so influential? why do a large number of people ociate no-sugar with a badge of honor?
