Why do people think Hispanic is a Race?

no other way to put it, america doesnt dig that deep. your either black, white, asian or hispanic. they are going to treat you as such. have you even noticed in other countries like brit that the black people think of themselves as british. but black people here think of themselves as black. people dont believe me, but in america you get treatest as you appear and they judge you based on your skin and how dress. So to your theory, i can see that happening. America is always sticking labels on people.
