I grew up on the border of NYC, so a farmer I'm not, I now have a house in the suburbs, and started my Garden, I grew "Tomato's" pretty well, "Dill" grew well, "Basil" did o.k. BUT, My Pumpkins, they took off doing well REALLY well, WOW can those vines grow, I noticed a white film on the plant, it started at the stump, two weeks ago I was watering a forest of pumpkin plants, yesterday I cut out the last of the dead plants...WHAT HAPPENED ? Everyone around here says that this is natural for pumpkins (I'm not buying that), I spoke with an old I-talian man who had a wonderful garden, I noticed that he had no pumpkin plants, I asked "why" ? He said that they tend to get a white worm in them that follows the vine and kill's the plant, is this what happened to me, is there a way to deal with them next year ? I was able to get ONE pumpkin of normal "Halloween" size. My lettuce was well then it all shot up to about 3 feet high ??? is this the plant's end of life cycle ?

For about 5 months this one tooth has bothered me. I did not think it was abcessed 'cause I already went thru 10 of those, this is like an electric shock or biting into fin foil with a filling. I did fall and hit my face skiing about 2 years ago but the tooth hasn't bothered me until recently. One time I did feel like I'd gotten a pecan shell stuck behind the filling in it but the dentist saw nothing. The first dentist I went to said it just barely showed the beginning of an abcsess so he did a root c, no crown yet 'cause it's bothering me. I went for a second oppinion, he took xray and said 'no cracks' root c looked good, filed it down as he thought it was bothering me because I was grinding my teeth. Went back to first dentist , xray, said looked fine, gave me antibiotics for the second time. The lower corner of my cheek bone Above the gums, above the laugh line is tender and feels bruised. Could this be a broken face bone? Crack? jaw problem? what else could be effecting this tooth?

I would go with McNabb. You have to look at who they are playing. CLE is one of the most p friendly D's you can go against. ok. so i had drama callbacks yesterday for the musical Annie and my drama teacher called me up to read for the role of Kate. Kate is the orphan with the least lines in the whole play. Braces! day before school?

so i recently went to the ortho so they could check out how they're gonna have to put on my braces and all that. and i have to get a small surgery from a different doctor to get an eye tooth removed and something like a metal string to tie around it and bring it down? im not exactly sure but ya ha. but i wanted it done as soon as possible so i could get them off as soon as i can! so with the surgery the schedule was a little bit harder and will be harder to change if i need to. but im supposed to get spacers (4 i think) then the surgery 2-3 days later, then braces 2-3 days after that. then the next days school! (only half day) i heard that ill be in alot of pain but idk if i can get it changed! im gonna try but if i cant, what are some suggestions to make the pain better and more bearable? and what does the pain feel like? thanks :)

Fourth Nerve Palsy?

The fourth cranial nerve is called the trochlear nerve, it only does one thing, controling a tiny muscle called the superior oblique. The eye can move around because of 6 muscles inside the orbit that all oppose each other. The main motion caused by the superior oblique is medial rotation, so when it doesn't work, the eye rotates laterally. You probably compensate for that by tilting your head away from the side with the nerve damage. I don't see how they would fix this surgically except to hurt the other muscles so there is nothing to compensate for.

I am a very good actor, and a decent singer. I am confident that I can act the part of Sweeney, but the singing is another matter. Cheese is a bit fattening, but okay in moderation. don't go eating a slice of cheese every hour >;o. There are a lot of exercise you can do. Lunges, jumping jacks, running in place with high knees, bicycle crunching. You can combine all of these to make a workout for yourself.. like 5 reps of 10. Or you can do each of them for a minute and then repeat until it's been 30 minutes.

Is there a way to change the settings in a vehicles ECU?

I have a '92 Mercury Tracer, and I am planning on going from the stock 9-1 compression ratio to 11-1. Does anyone know any scan tools or programs for your laptop to change the settings in the vehicle ECU, such as compression ratio, bore, valve oversize and camshaft lobe length? First off me and my girlfriend started dating last august it was unexpected and she was leaving for school we kinda just went with it. Please, serious answers for this one! Ok, I work at facility that houses boys 7-17 with behavior and mental difficulties. I am the 3rd shift supervisor. I've been at my job for almost 10 years. I work 3rd shift. Our building is divided into 2 units. A younger unit and an older unit. I work on the younger unit and have for pretty much the last 9 years. Recently my employer hired a young female to be my istant supervisor. She works on the older unit. Well, we recently got a 15 year old juvenile delinquent who acts out horribly. Said juvenile is on my istant supervisor's unit. So, being that she is young, somewhat small ( 5'5 130) and female she is scared of the new juvenile. Staff on her unit are just an inconsistent mess! So, to get to my point, my boss is making me work on that unit due to all the behaviors on that unit and putting her in my place on the younger unit! We literally have to wrestle these kids down at times if they are a danger to themselves or others. I feel I'm being discriminated against because I am a big male who can physically handle these juveniles, but would rather not. The only reason they want me on that unit is so my istant supervisor feels comfortable! I know I'm getting screwed but am I also being discriminated against? Thanks! Jack

Well many factors will determine how much you will spend for the babies first year. I mean, are you feeding? Cause if not formula can run anywhere from 60-150 dollars a week, the cheapest way to do formula is to buy it in the powder. Also cloth diapers or disposable because i spend 44 dollars every 2 weeks for huggies bulk pack (244 diapers) at costco, you could probably cut the cost their with a store brand in bulk but i perfer huggies as the cheaper brands seem to leak with my son. The theres baby food which run 69-79 cents a jar, you can cut costs by making your own but that can become time consuming. The baby furniture can be bought second hand so your prices will range but through kijiji or ebay you can always find something in your budget. Then theres clothing, they grow so fast so don't spend to much on name brands, they won't wear them very long. So it's hard to estimate but if i had to a baby can cost over 5000 dollars a year easily. A easy way to get some of your essentials and to get you started is to have a baby shower and register for the things you need. Hope this helped and congrats.

My Mother-in-law hates me and my husband. Right from the day one she has been rude to me.?

Am I the only one to complain that my airbags didn't deploy at the time of my accident? On 07-06-07 while traveling in my White 1997 Toyota Tercel at approximately 35 p.m.h , I crashed into a vehicle in front of me , they never deployed , and to my knowledge were never deactivated to where I knew that they wouldn't deploy on me. Random hives on hands and feet?

This happens all the time. My skin where I get them will turn red and and then huge hives will show up on my fingers palms wrists and feet. I'm in eighth grade and I am age thirteen. I'm sort of pretty, but not gorgeous. Question about red platys.?

I love aquatic life. I have had a saltwater aquarium for some time now. They are great fish and very clean too. When I was young, I had gold fish. I am interested in getting a freshwater tank as well as my saltwater one. I think the red platy fish is a beautiful tropical freshwater fish. Every time I got to the pet store to eye them up, I notice they are always pooping. My saltwater fish (damselfish and clownfish) are very discrete when they poop. I see them go once a month ( I know they go more, but I just don't see it happen) and it is never dirty in their tank. I know they have a lot more filtration with the live rock and sand and the filter. So my main question would be, do platy fish defecate a lot, are they dirty fish, how can I best keep this tank clean if I choose to get them and are their any invertebrate that can live with them to help keep it clean beyond the means of just a filtration system?

Mountain climbing in Snowdonia?

I'll be in Snowdonia for a night (not sure where exactly yet) and I was watching a tele special on Snowdonia and some guy climbed the Snowdonia Horeshoe path with a guide. The scenery was gorgeous and I'd love to do it while I'm there, but I'm going to be on my own. (will be with my mum but she doesn't want to climb it). Is there a guide or some kind of climbing tour? I don't want to risk going on my own, even if I have a map, and get lost. I don't know if there's such thing as having one guide with you while you climb it or several, so please let me know!

hi i do buy books and i do read them once but after that they just lie there on my bookshelf gathering dust, for me i think people just buy them for the sake of it because you know when you walk into a book shop and its all lit and dark and quiet and all around you theres loads of books you just feel the urge to like go and buy one. thats probably what attracts most people it certainley attracts me. theres nothing like a visit to a bookshop in winter and sitting on the soft chairs with a takeaway hot chocolate! Contracting hiv in this situation?

Well i work at costco as the front end istant and transfer items onto carts and such. As i was transfering items i got a small cut on top of my knuckle on my right hand. It bled a tiny tiny bit and after one wipe with a napkin it pretty much stopped. Well a couple minutes later my cashier got a cut on her finger that kept bleeding and all she did was wipe it with a tissue but it still bled and continued working scanning items. And im worried that her blood might of gotten on the items and i might of touched her blood and we work pretty fast at costco so its hard to tell. She continued to keep wiping her cut with napkins but kept on bleeding so i offered to get her band aids and the anti septic. so my questions is what are the chances of me getting hiv touching the items she touched with a possibility blood might of been on it and getting in my cut. Ball python has layers of eye caps and nothing is working to remove them!?

We recently got a ball python from a friend. We dont have prior snake experience. But I thoroughly researched EVERYTHING possible about these little guys before bringing her home. Straight away we noticed the retained eye caps, there are quite possibly 3 + sheds worth on there, layers of eye caps her vision is extremely limited. we have tried EVERYTHING, from soaking, gentle q-tips and once we even broke down and gently tried the tape method with no success. She has been to the vet TWICE and they are still on there. She has been given antibiotic eye drops, we clean her eyes multiple times a day, and I am just sick over it. one of her eyes is mostly cleared up but the other is still absolutely terrible. Surprisingly , for the 4 weeks we have had her she has eaten like clockwork , so far no problems eating. so I feel good about that. . I wish we could get this fixed for her. Right now she is burrowed in her hide for 3 days smack dab in the middle of a shed, so we are leaving her completely alone hoping for a great shed. This will be her a first with us, previous owner says when she shed it was a million pieces, so I am closely monitoring temps/ humidity, and she has plenty of fresh water, and a humid hide available that she is not using. I am just praying that her eyes clear up after this shed, but if not.. what on earth can be done? My partner and I are still so new to snakes ( her being our first reptile) that we are still a bundle of nerves while holding her head and cleaning her little eyes, we are not educated enough to try too much because we do not want to do more harm than good. Please someone help. All the websites say the same thing.. Soak her, weve done it... her vet even put her on a 24 hour soak and still no results. weve tried warm baths, she has beyond everything she could need and the humidity is a steady 70% right now. any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I came home from the Vacation bible school job i voluntered for and when I went to go get my dog a treat I heard the TV on upstairs. Can I Be Allergic to Prednisone?

MY foot had a case of contact dermatitis for bout 2 weeks, so the doctor prescribed me Prednisone pills. I was instructed to take 6 pills once a day with food for first 4 days and decrease to 4 pills the next 4 days. After taking 3 days of Prednisone, I wake up covered from head to toe with itchy red rashes. I have no known allergies to anything untill now. But the only thing is Prednisone is used to treat allergic reactions, so how could that be?

Yes, I do agree and I will tell you why. Melina botches in her matches far too often to be seen as a champion. She always tries to pull out these moves that she just can't pull off which makes her opponents and her self look silly during their matches. I would not have a problem with Melina botching once a match if she was not a Champ and I did not have to see her wrestle every week.
